The AI Adoption After 50 Report

How experienced professionals over 50 are actually adopting artificial intelligence at work — which tools, for which tasks, and what stops the ones who stall.

    Why it matters

    The Gap This Report Fills

AI adoption research is overwhelmingly weighted toward workers under 40, and the coverage of older professionals is usually a story about being left behind. This report measures adoption inside a group that has both judgment and decision authority.

Findings Are Not Published Yet — Deliberately.

This report is in the field. No numbers appear on this page until the sample supports them, because a statistic published early becomes a citation that cannot be recalled.

    Methodology

    • Survey of professionals aged 50 and over across real estate, sales, consulting, and small business ownership.
    • Questions cover tools used, tasks delegated, hours recovered, trust in output, and specific reasons for abandoning a tool.
    • Adoption is measured by task, not by self-declared confidence.
    • Aggregate reporting only, with sample size published beside every figure.
